History of May Day-------- The great May Day is celebrated worldwide. The glorious day of the bloody struggle for the rights of working people. On this day in 1886, the workers called for strikes in all the industrial areas of the United States demanding eight hours of work rights. 11 people were killed in police firing in huge gathering gathering and protests in front of O Market in Chicago. After that, the labor protest spread all over the world. The greater the unity of the workers and the people grew. Finally, in the face of intense protests, the workers were forced to accept the daily work of eight hours of work. In order to commemorate the rights of the workers, the decision was made to celebrate the day as 'May Day' in the Second International Labor Conference in Paris in 1889. The continuation of the day is observed today in all the countries of the world.
